Bin Collection FAQs

We currently offer waste collection from £10 per bin. Garden waste collection is £22.50 per bin.

The customer can choose a default payment method, which Bukka will charge on every service / collection booking. All payments can be made via Worldpay/Stripe. Which is our preferred secure card payment merchant. Payment is taken once you place your order. You will receive a notification to let you know that payment has been successful.

We charge extra due the extra weight in garden waste. We pay for disposal by the tone so we have to charge accordingly.

The price is set for 30 Kgs per bin. If your bin is heavier, you may be charged more, from £20 to £40 depending upon the weight.

Here’s a simple way to test if your bin is too heavy: If you can pull your bin with one hand, it should be fine. If you struggle to move the bin, and need to use both hands to pull it, then it's classed as overweight. Contact us to arrange your collection. If the bin is found to be too heavy for collection on the scheduled day, you will receive a notification via the app to let you know.

Please leave all bins out in an accessible place as you would for council refuse collections.

Please leave all bins out from 7am on the day of collection. We will collect anytime between 7am and 5pm.

Once you have registered and opened your account with Bukka Services, you can view the schedule calendar to see the dates we are available in your area. You can then choose your selected collection date.

All payments and card details are handled through Worldpay who are one of the biggest and most trusted card payment merchants worldwide. Bukka does not hold any bank card details

You can rearrange a collection via the app. There may be a call out charge depending on if we are in your area.

If you move to another location, simply update your profile and collection details in the Bukka app.

If you include this in your general waste yes we do. We take all the necessary steps to recycle as much as possible.

You can add additional black bags from £2.00 for each to your order.

A duty of care note confirms that your waste is handled and dealt with in accordance with current regulations.

We will not collect your bins if they contain any of the following types of waste: Hazardous items such as medical, chemical, toxic or contaminated waste. Construction waste such as bricks, plaster, boards, cement. Waste intended for garden waste collection. Hot ash.

Payments for recurring collections are debited up to 48 hours prior to service date. One-off collection / service payments are processed immediately upon booking.
